Frequently Asked Questions
We answer the most common questions about how we work at Globental so that you have total clarity and confidence.
The customer submits an initial request with the profile they need (position, functions, experience, languages, schedules). On the same day, you receive a cost projection and a letter of acceptance with the conditions. Once signed, we open the position and activate the search. In a maximum of 7 days we deliver a shortlist with 3 validated candidates.
Each profile goes through an internal filter: review of experience, references and a quick video interview (2—5 minutes) to evaluate technical skills and cultural fit. In addition, we confirm availability, acceptance of rates and a commitment to exclusivity to ensure that talent only works with you through Globental.
In a maximum of 72 hours we start receiving profiles and within 7 days we will give you 3 final candidates who meet your needs. The process is designed to be fast and efficient, without sacrificing quality.
If the candidate doesn't fit your needs, we look for and present you with new options at no additional cost. Our commitment is that you only advance with a profile that fits both technically and culturally.
A freelancer (contractor) works as a freelancer, with a contract for the provision of services. It has greater independence, organizes its time and activities, and is not subject to continuous or direct supervision by the client. On the other hand, when the relationship requires a full employment contract, Globental manages it through local entities authorized in the professional's country. This implies a more structured relationship, with labor rights and benefits, in addition to more constant supervision by the client.
On the same day of the request, we send a letter of acceptance with the projection of costs, deadlines and conditions. Once signed, we proceed with the search. Subsequently, the following are signed:
Service provision contract between Globental and the customer.
Brokerage contract with the freelancer or employment contract through an authorized local entity (as appropriate).
Specific confidentiality agreements, responsibilities and payment schedule.
No. For projects we work with freelance contracts and for ongoing relationships we manage everything through authorized local entities. This makes it possible to comply with labor regulations without the client having to open a legal entity in each country
Globental centralizes all administrative management. For professionals hired through authorized local entities, they are responsible for payroll, benefits and legal compliance in their country of residence. When it comes to freelancers, payment is also channeled through our authorized partners, allowing us to ensure order, tax compliance and management savings for both the client and the professional.
Companies usually reduce their personnel costs by 40% to 60% compared to hiring locally in Europe. This without compromising quality, thanks to the fact that LATAM's talent combines experience, training and cultural closeness.
The monthly price covers the professional's compensation, legal and administrative costs in their country of residence, and the comprehensive management carried out by Globental (search, validation, contracts, payments and monitoring)
It depends on the type of contractual relationship:
Contractors (freelance): we only ask for a minimum of 30 days notice to end the relationship.
Employees (employment contract through local entities): the conditions depend on the legislation of each country. In general, they tend to be much more flexible than in Spain in terms of probationary periods or grounds for termination. If you want to know the specific conditions of a country or profile, contact us and we will advise you in detail.
Payment is made easily and securely through Globental, within the first 5 days of each month. This way, you centralize everything in a single supplier and avoid managing multiple countries.
Once the client chooses the candidate, we organize an onboarding meeting with all parties. There, accesses, work tools, deliverables and initial objectives are reviewed so that the integration is clear from day one.
Globental actively monitors: a first check-in a week, another one in the middle of the first month and monthly reviews. The objective is to confirm that the professional is performing and that the client is satisfied, resolving any issue in time.
Yes. Our team accompanies both the client and the professional throughout the collaboration. We coordinate with our authorized local entities any administrative or legal aspect, and we provide direct support on communication and performance issues.
There can be three scenarios:
Renewal under the same or new conditions.
Termination, always respecting the notice periods depending on the type of contract.
Conversion, when a freelancer becomes employed under an employment contract, managed through our authorized local entities.
